Toolkit 2: Life Drawing 3/02/22

Todays life  drawing lesson started with a 20 minute drawing. I was happy with the results considering it was the first drawing of the day. Normally I'm quite slow at drawing the first pose of the day, however today was not the case and I managed to get most the figure done and move on to shading.

We did an exersice where we had to draw 5, 1 minute drawings in different way, such as with 1 line only or with our weaker hand. This helps to realise the pose.

Below is a 20 minute drawing

After the break we did a quick exercise of drawing 5 poses in 30 seconds in order to warm up again.

In the drawing below I really tried to focus on drawing the face. I used construction lines in order to make sure the placement of the facial features was done correctly.
